Member Posts: 2 | Now I am almost sure we live in a police state. My family and I have had our amendments violated, have been repeatedly harassed, and now I get a letter in the mail suspending my drivers license over a $10 seat belt ticket. I was not aware that a seat belt violation was worth a 2 year suspension. And when did they start asking to see everyones ID that's in the vehicle? Sorry to say but not all minors have a valid ID and they shouldn't have to. They even asked for my other half's ID. When I called to find out more about the suspension I was told to learn to pay my fines. I have a clean driving record! What they gonna plan on next? | |

yes lisa a police state in deed, i could say alot about the licensing thing but i do not have the time or space here. as for the ID thing ya they plan on having all of us. with a personal ID tag. again a subject which has more information that i could provide here. | |

Yea we have been in a police state for years, if the ndaa act is signed by obama, we will surely be in a nazi state, HAIL OBAMA! its a revenue law designed to make money-like the dnr, whos main money maker [uncassed gun in veihicle] law . This law was repealed with the wisconsin concealed carry law--YEA!- the seat belt law should also be repealed-- I got 1 two and then told the officer i would not wear it, he didnt pull me over when i drove away, he got his cash and was satisfied for the day- | |

Only the person driveing should be the only person to show ID, they will ask for it if they want to but you do not need to comply if you are not behind the wheel. Of couse unless the law on that has recently changed. | |
